Fall is the brainchild of Jessie Santos (lead guitars/vocals/bass), incorporating styles deriving from artists such as Disillusion, Sybreed, Ihsahn, etc… Starting from scratch Jan. ’09 with Freddy Leal (drums), nothing much came out the first several months. A few rough recordings, and scattered song ideas, and no ambition to make anything out of it. A year passed, with a new head on Jessie’s shoulders, he gathers the balls to get the first song (…to dust) recorded at Precision Studios. And having several talks with Freddy regarding his position in all of this (a month and a half later) The Fires Below and An Empty World were recorded. Since then many practice sessions have been done, several new songs/ideas and the recruiting of Javier Rodriguez on rhythm guitar happened. What is now Fall strives to become a full-force live metal act to sever the thoughts that nothing but trend-following bands and poorly thought-out music comes out of south Texas.
